Dørålen, Rondane

So, I’m back from a rather tiresome trip into the scenic valley Dørålen in Rondane National Park. The fall colors were spectacular and the light conditions seemed to be decent enough. It’s strange though, coming to a new location you feel almost lost. Like, where to go, what to shoot. I guess that’s normal though.

I still managed to field test my brand spanking new Canon 1Ds-MarkIII. And I love it Of course. It’s a bit heavier to lug around than my 5D, but it feels more sturdy and of course, gives me more pixels to work with.

Sadly though, I didn’t get great light. Not at all. But you work with what you are given and I’m pretty satisfied with the results from this trip. Next year, I’ll be spending a lot more time up there as you need more than 1 night to familiarize yourself with this vast place.

Since I really haven’t had the time to maintain my previous website (and the fact that some Kurdish(!?) hacker ruined my site) I have now set up a more convenient website. Both for myself and for the viewers and visitors. The gallery is pretty slim at the moment, but since this is quite easy for me to update, I figure you’ll see a much larger gallery soon.
